24 Hours For Improving Best Robotic Mop And Vacuum
Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos
The majority of robot vacuum-mop combinations can be customized with a specialized app to save maps of your home, set cleaning schedules and choose mopping modes. You can also adjust the suction power and how much water your mop uses.
A mapping function will help your robot navigate around rooms. A feature for avoiding obstacles will stop it from running into wires, furniture, or stray toys. These features are crucial for my home filled with toys.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the top-of-the-line vacuum and mop, is packed with features. It can sweep and mop simultaneously, and even lift its mop pads or brushes to ensure that soft surfaces don't get too wet. It also can detect and avoid obstacles, thanks to the ability to recognize pet toys plants, a variety of small objects.
The robot vacuum has a maximum suction power of 6,000 pascals, which is more than any other robot vac we've tested. It also has PreciSense LiDAR navigation, which tracks its position, preventing it from getting stuck on objects.
The mopping function is impressive and the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply constant pressure of over 6 Newtons to the mop pad for an intense clean. It also comes with mop lifter technology that will lift the pad automatically as it is able to switch between tile, laminate hardwood, carpet or rugs, in order to avoid soaking the soft surfaces.
In addition to this, the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying features. The pad can be rinsing and then drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty and return to the dock. You can set it to forget about it. It is only necessary to replenish the water tank or replace the dust bag on occasion.
All this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. I tested it with its normal mop and vac settings for about 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to get power hungry and then return to its base for a recharge. This isn't that far from the 180 minutes that Roborock claims, and is on the same level as other hybrids I've tried.
This is a highly robust and well-rounded product with its only downsides being the fact that it's pricey. However, its sheer abundance of features makes it a tempting option for anyone who wants to get rid of their old stick vacuum and mop. We highly recommend this vacuum when you can justify its cost.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a high-end robot vacuum and mop combo. The high price is justified by the powerful features, such as a huge vacuuming capacity and two mop heads that rotate. It has an app-enabled smart controller and powerful obstacle-avoidance technology.
The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 euros, which is among the most powerful robotic vacuums and mop combos on the market. In my tests, it performed well throughout the home. It was able to eliminate 98.4% debris on all kinds of floors and was able to lift long hair without getting caught in. The mops were also great, achieving great cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models, due to their rotational motion and a strong dose of cleaning solution.
The docking station is the primary selling feature of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and advanced. The docking station empties the dustbin into a bag to collect dirt, then refills the tank with water to use for mopping, and even dry mop pads. It features a real-time risk detection system, and its sophisticated controls allow you to schedule regular cleaning sessions.
In contrast to the other hybrid vacuum mops I test, the L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced debris pickup performance on carpets. Additionally, its mops aren't as efficient in removing staining that is as strong as those in the top Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
In spite of the L10S Ultra's many high-end features, it still requires regular care and maintenance. The base station must be emptied, and the water tank and dust bag should be cleaned, empty and dried regularly to prevent mildew and unpleasant odors. The mop pads sold separately also require replacement every few months.
Given the L10S Ultra's premium cost and robust features, I would recommend it to anyone with the money for it. If you're on a smaller budget, I suggest a less basic model that will allow you to save money while still enjoying clean hands at your home. It's worth noting that even the L10S Ultra is the best robot vacuum and mop you can find but its high price and ongoing maintenance will ultimately make it more of a desire than a necessity.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop that you require to tidy up mess and get rid of dirt from your floors. This powerful robovac/mop set-up comes with a powerful 8,000 Pa suction power. It also boasts a huge battery capacity that can be used for both mopping and vacuuming. And it is equipped with a top-notch obstacle-avoidance system. It comes with a roller-mop that is self-cleaning, making it stand out from other models that require you to return to the base station to wash the mop pad.
The S1 Pro has a unique mopping system that is distinct from the spinning discs and microfibre pads found in other robots. The roller covers the entire length of the bot and is constantly dosed with clean, ozonated water from its dock. The roller scrubs the floor while collecting dirt. Any dry debris is swept away with the side brushes or swept away into the front bumper. The S1 Pro removes the dirty mop water in its base station, where it is sucked by the tank's heater elements, and then emptied into a larger storage container. The tank onboard can hold a good amount of water and can handle up to half a dozen mopping sessions before being emptied out.
Like most robot vacuums and mop combinations The S1 Pro is ready to come out from the box. The S1 Pro will need to be refilled with clean water. This is easily accomplished in the cleaning dock. If you'd like to use your own cleaner, you can add cleaning solution to the dock. If you do opt for this feature, you'll need to purchase the branded cleaning solution from Eufy which is more expensive than other robot brands that permit you to use your own cleaning products.
As with auto vacuum cleaner that are available, the S1 Pro did well in accuracy in navigation and coverage tests. It was quick to map a area and moved around furniture. It got stuck on carpets with thick piles a couple of times during my tests. However this could be improved by re-updating the software. The S1 Pro is a very robust robot that is available at a reasonable price.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock’s entry-level mop and vacuum but it does have some impressive features. The dock's multi-function function is emptying the robot's dirtbag, filling its water tanks, and cleaning and sanitizing the mop pads is performed by the dock. The mopping system can sweep a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's extreme suction is perfect for picking up pet hair and other debris from carpets.
The software that runs this appliance is fairly complex, with a broad variety of options to personalize the cleaning process. You can set it up manually to start a full map and clean of everything that is mapped by the device or you can choose specific rooms, expandable zones, or even a schedule you've crafted. There are many mopping options, including SmartPlan -- an algorithm that utilizes the mops' sensors to determine the most efficient way to tidy your home as it maps the area.
The Qrevo was a great performer in our tests, just as all Roborock models that we've test. Its navigation system is reliable it can map rooms quickly and cleaning them in an organized fashion. Its "Normal" pathing settings cover an area well, and doesn't leave any major gaps or missed areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is also quite effective although it's not as sophisticated as the color camera system on the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can spot hazards such as thick carpets however it won't always be able to detect smaller items like rug tassels or electrical wires.
This device has a major problem: it doesn't offer a mop after vacuuming. This could be a problem for people who vacuum a lot before using their robot. Fortunately, there's a simple solution: the app offers the option to "clean up" at the end of every vacuuming session. You can use the vacuum's mopping functions to remove the dust and dirt that remained after vacuuming. It's a nice touch and can help this robot make its clean better than its less expensive competitors.
